ABS-CBN partners with Health Futures Foundation Inc. to help people in Batangas



ABS-CBN INTEGRATED PUBLIC SERVICE PARTNERS WITH HEALTH FUTURES FOUNDATION INC. IN BUILDING SUSTAINABLE & CARING COMMUNITIES

ABS-CBN Integrated Public Service (IPS) recently inked a partnership with Health Futures Foundation Inc. (HFI) for its first Building Sustainable & Caring Communities (BSCC) project that aims to build a holistic health center in Brgy. Looc, Balete, Batangas.

“In the creation of the health center, we will ensure that the five branches of health and wellness will be fully developed: basic health care, basic education, basic shelter, food security, and livelihood.  We chose Brgy. Looc since it is easily accessible from Manila, where employees may do their voluntary work,” said IPS co-head Fr. Tito Caluag. 

Aside from the mentioned health provisions, the community members may expect preventive and curative medicines as well as health and fitness activities in the health center which will be inaugurated by the end of November.

Present in the contract signing were ABS-CBN Integrated Public Service co-head Jerry Bennett, ABS-CBN Public Service Group head Higino Dungo, ALKFI Chief Finance officer Noemi Samson, Corporate Service Group 1 head Mark Nepomuceno, Health Futures Foundation Incorporation chairman Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan, ABS-CBN Integrated Public Service co-head Fr. Tito Caluag, and Health Futures Foundation Incorporation project director Rebecca Galvez.

HFI is a non-stock, non-profit organization involved in the management of health and social development programs for the poorest and marginalized sectors of the Philippine society.
