Looking back to what Pia Wurtzbach went through her humble showbiz career and her multiple tries on the Binibining Pilipinas crown, goes to show how determined and passionate she is as a person. She is now an icon that every young girl looks up to- an inspiration that epitomized the saying ‘try and try until you succeed”. Pia is indeed a queen not only of the universe but of the Century!

Crowned as Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurztbach now joins the elite roster of endorsers for Century Tuna including Sharon Cuneta, Aljur Abrenica, KC Concepcion, Derek Ramsey, John Lloyd Cruz, Jessie Mendiola, Anne Curtis and the former Miss Universe- Ms. Gloria Diaz among others.

It was in 1978 that Century Canning Corp. first introduced in the market the Century Tuna canned product line and in 1980 they tapped Ms. Diaz (Miss Universe 1969) as the very first celebrity endorser. Fast forward to 2017, after 37 years Century Tuna finally found another ‘queen’ fitted for the job and now we can say that Ms. Pia is the “Queen of the Century”.

Ms. Gela Gamboa-Pecson, Marketing Manager for Century Tuna explains why Pia is the perfect "Queen of the Century" Century Tuna brand endorser

Pia Wurtzbach seriously recognized the importance of healthy living and being fit. She also attributes her healthy eating habits by regularly incorporating Century Tuna Lite on her diet. Her fitness regimen includes going to the gym regularly and by eating healthy.

Knowing her hectic schedule she admits being a loyal consumer of Century Tuna since it is so convenient to prepare and it is packed with good nutritional benefits. “I have a busy schedule and I’m always on the go so when I do have the time to go to the grocery or prepare a meal, I make it a priority. I like to enjoy food that keeps my energy levels stable, like Century Tuna,” Queen P happily shares.

Pia as the Queen of the Century clearly knows that she should not deprive herself in becoming the ‘superbod’. With regular exercises, sensible diet and  the addition of Century Tuna into her regular meals, she is sure to get the healthy benefits from a 100 percent real tuna.

Century Tuna is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) and protein that helps in building muscles, prevents cholesterol and fatty build-ups while supporting overall health.

Century Tuna is the leading canned tuna brand in the Philippines. It is your classic all-time, healthy meat. It is available in vegetable oil, brine, hot & spicy, lite and other variants.

It has Omega 3 DHA that is good for the heart and mind. It is low in cholesterol and has no preservatives. Century Tuna Lite is 50% less fat and 50% less sodium perfect for the sexy body you always wanted.

Now that Pia Wurztbach represents the best tuna brand, I am more inspired to continue my fitness journey and happy to announced that I alreday lost 30 pounds. Anyone can start somewhere and fulfill their fitness goals but the best place to start this is to have a healthy diet starting with Century Tuna.

Transforming Lives: The Impact of SM Group's KSK Program on Filipino Farmers

Farming futures Jayson and Juanito proudly showcase a selection of produce at the SM City Clark’s Weekend Market. While modern agricultural techniques boost yields for some, there remains a number of Filipino farmers who struggle to keep pace. These experienced hands find themselves falling behind in a market demanding higher production, clinging to familiar yet often inefficient methods passed down through generations. One farmer from Pampanga, Jayson Garcia, sought to disrupt this prevailing narrative in his family. He knew that he had to chart a new course forward for his farm and innovate to remain competitive within the rapidly evolving landscape of modern agriculture. “Noon, mahirap ang magtanim,” he recalled their life before joining SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan. “Para bang tsambahan, basta pag itinanim mo ‘yan, hintayin mo na lang mamunga. Mas mahirap pa lalo kapag nagkaroon ng kalamidad,” he added.  SM Foundation’s training program focused on high-value crop cultiv

A 15-Minute Tropical City in Pasay

All within 15 minutes: Urban planning concept city to rise in Pasay For the modern urban dweller, 15 minutes is a lot of time.  A lot of productive things can be done – a high-intensity, interval training (HITT) workout or run a 1.5-kilometer route, clearing your emails, meditating, catching up on the news, or preparing a quick smoothie – all within 15 minutes.  But for the Metro Manila commuter, 15 minutes is barely enough to get from point A to point B. During rush hour, it is most likely that within this time, you still haven’t moved an inch.   Ever heard of the 15-minute city? It’s a modern urban planning concept that puts people and the planet first. The term was coined by Paris-based urbanist and Sorbonne University professor Carlos Moreno wherein he said that the ideal neighborhood or city is built in such a way where work, food, housing, education and cultural activities can be easily accessed within 15 minutes, whether by foot or by using a bike.  An artist’s render of a 15-
